Reigning world champion Noah Lyles has claimed a spot in the semifinals of the 100 meters at the Paris Olympics, securing second place in his heat with a time of 10.04 seconds. Lyles was only .06 seconds behind rival Louieinchl. He acknowledged underestimating his competitors but vowed to stay focused.
