Anti Corruption: News, Cases and Analysis

This tag groups reporting on corruption cases, investigations, policy changes and anti graft campaigns across Africa. You will find court updates, government probes, corporate scandals, reforms and tips to spot wrongdoing.

How to use this page

Start with the latest posts listed below to catch fast breaking developments. Then open in depth pieces for context and follow links to official documents and court filings we include.

What to expect

Expect clear timelines, named individuals when available, and summaries of legal steps like charges, bail, hearings and verdicts. We include reactions from officials, watchdogs and experts so you see how events might affect policy or public services.

Want to follow a case closely? Bookmark major stories, set alerts on your browser, and check back after court dates or official reports drop. If you are a journalist or researcher, use the tags on each article to pull related coverage fast.

We rely on court records, official statements, filings, and named sources on the record when possible. When facts remain unclear we say so and update stories as new documents or rulings emerge.

If you plan to share sensitive information, protect your identity and use secure channels. We link to NGO guides and encrypted contact options where available.

Corruption affects budgets, health services, schools and trust in institutions. Tracking cases shows where systems fail and where pressure or reform is working.

Share credible stories, report tips to local watchdogs, and support investigative groups that publish data. Even small acts like asking officials for updates or attending hearings push transparency forward.

Use the search box or tag filters on the site to find stories by country, sector or legal stage. Subscribe to our newsletter for weekly anti corruption roundups and exclusive explainers.

Have a tip or correction? Email our newsroom or use the secure tip form linked on articles. We aim to be fast, fair and clear.

Short glossary: Charge means a formal accusation; indictment is a prosecutor filing; bail is temporary release pending trial. Appeal is a request to a higher court and plea deals resolve cases without trial.

Recent stories we cover include court appearances, hospital admission rule changes aimed at fraud, and major public sector hires that affect oversight. We also track telecom deals, budget shifts, and high profile trials that shape policy.

Why follow here rather than other places? Our feed focuses on education, public services and how corruption links to everyday life across Africa. That makes the coverage practical for teachers, parents, students and public servants who want clear facts and next steps.

Read with a critical eye, check sources, and use our archives to spot patterns in local institutions. If you spot an inconsistency in a report, tell us so we can correct the record.

Final note Corruption stories change fast, so use this tag to keep track and act when facts allow. Follow our social feeds for instant alerts and context on big cases.

Thanks for staying informed. Keep asking questions.
